Kellyanne Conway, a former top adviser to former President Donald Trump, and her husband George Conway, a lawyer and frequent Trump critic, have announced their divorce.

The couple made the announcement on Saturday, saying in a statement that they are "amicably" parting ways after 22 years of marriage. They have four children together.

Kellyanne Conway served as Trump's campaign manager during the 2016 presidential election and went on to become a senior adviser in his administration. She was known for her outspoken defense of Trump, even when her husband was publicly criticizing the president.

George Conway, a conservative lawyer, co-founded the anti-Trump Lincoln Project in 2020. He has been a vocal critic of Trump on social media and has written op-eds calling for his impeachment.

The couple's divorce is the latest in a string of high-profile breakups among Trump's inner circle. Several of his former advisers have left the administration and turned against him, including former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.
