BC Hydro Customers Experience Power Outages

Multiple Regions Affected

Residents in the Peachland, Richmond, New Westminster, Langford, and Vancouver Island areas are experiencing power outages due to downed wires and other issues. As of 10:00 pm, BC Hydro reports that power has been restored to most affected areas. However, approximately 2719 Peachland customers remain without electricity.

Customers Urged to Report Outages

BC Hydro encourages customers to report any outages by calling 1-800 BCHYDRO (1-800-224-9376) or 604-224-9376. They can also check the outage map on the BC Hydro website to see if the company is already aware of the issue.

Smaller Outages Resolved

Smaller outages in the Richmond, New Westminster, and east coast of Vancouver areas have been resolved. BC Hydro crews are working to restore power to the remaining affected areas as quickly as possible.
