Dillon Suffered Laceration in Game 3 Loss to Avalanche

Jets Announce Dillon Will Be Unavailable for Game 4 on Sunday

Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness announced on Sunday morning that defenseman Brenden Dillon will miss Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals due to a hand injury. Dillon sustained the injury in the third period of Game 3 on Saturday night in Denver, when he was hit by a shot from Colorado Avalanche forward Mikko Rantanen.

Dillon left the game immediately after the injury and did not return. The Jets went on to lose the game 5-2, falling behind 2-1 in the series. Dillon's absence will be a significant blow to the Jets' defense, as he has been a key contributor this season.

The Jets are scheduled to host the Avalanche in Game 4 on Sunday night. Dillon's status for Game 5, which will be played in Denver on Tuesday night, is currently unknown.

Dillon, 31, has played in 74 games for the Jets this season, recording 2 goals and 19 assists. He is a physical presence on the ice and is known for his ability to block shots.
